Infiltrometry - Blower - Door
This test measures the air infiltrations of a building, excluding ventilation, meaning the amount of air entering the building through defects in the envelope (external walls).
To perform the test, a blower door is used and placed at the entrance of the building.
This allows us to know the amount of air entering the building outside of the ventilation systems.
Leak detection helps identify areas to seal in order to eliminate air infiltrations.
Good airtightness is therefore essential to ensure good indoor air quality, the preservation of the building, good acoustic and thermal comfort, and to avoid energy waste.
This test is mandatory for obtaining the MINERGIE label.
